A simple to make apple pie recipe with some health benefits.

  • 1/2 Pealed apple (small diced)
  • Sugar (1 tablespoon)
  • Cinnamon powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Apricot jam (1 tablespoon)
  • Butter (3 tablespoon)
  • 2 bread slices


  • Heat the pan at low temperature. When the pan is heated add 1 and 1/2 tbsp of butter, add diced apple and caramelized the apple at low flame for 2-3 min.
  • Add cinnamon powder, sugar, apricot jam and mix the mixture nicely and caramelized for another 2 min so the flavour of cinnamon powder and apricot are infused.
  • Take a bread slices and cut the edges of both the breads.
  • Apply left over butter on the both slices of bread and cut into strips for 1 bread. Cut the another bread with cookie cutter in the shape of small aluminium mould.
  • Now take a small aluminium mould grease with butter, add small piece of bread which is cut in the shape of mould at the bottom of mould , add the cut strips of breads vertically the sides of mould, now add the mixture of apple pie tart, cover the mould with bread cutted in shape of mould.
  • Bake the apple pie tart at 180 degree Celsius for 10 min.
  • Your apple pie is ready to serve.
