Baked chicken with flavoured rice for chicken lovers. You can have this for lunch

  • 1 chicken breast cut into 2 halves
  • Half tsp spice powder
  • Half tsp oregano
  • Half tsp paprika
  • Half tsp salt
  • Half bowl rice


  • Rub the dry chicken breast with a little olive oil and apply the spice mix.
  • Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven at medium and then bake the chicken covered for 20 minutes, followed by 6 or 8 minutes open baked for browning.
  • Let it rest covered for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Saute the mix veges in a dollop of butter and sprinkle some salt, white pepper and fresh parsley.
  • Cook rice to your desired flavour, I have cooked with biryani flavour, garnish and serve.
