  • Half kg. juicy carrots (grated)
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 2 tsp pure butter ghee
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • Sliced nuts of your choice


  • Mix grated carrots and condensed milk in a non stick pot and put on slow to medium heat on the gas stove.
  • Keep stirring in intervals. The water of carrots and the liquid milk will dry after 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Add nuts, ghee, and elaichi powder. Transfer in a micro dish.
  • Now microwave this 2 or 3 times for 3 mins each time, until you see the milk turn to khoya consistency.
  • Remove and enjoy the delicious halwa.
