Poha for your breakfast...

Ingredients

  • 1 small spoon salt
  • 1 small spoon turmeric powder
  • 3 whole chillies
  • 2 whole onion
  • 3 small bowl pohe
  • 1 table spoon Oil
  • 6-7 curry leaves
  • 10 pieces groundnuts
  • 1 small bowl coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Add poha in a colander and wash it well. Do not allow it to soak for a long time and allow it to drain out completely.
  • Add oil to a pan and heat it. Now add chopped onion and chillies to it along with groundnuts.
  • Allow to heat untill the onion turns a bit brownish.
  • Add turmeric to it.
  • Now add the poha and salt to the pan. Mix them well.
  • Allow it to heat for 5-10 min.
  • Add lemon juice from top to taste and mix well.
  • Then cover the pan with a lid and allow it to get some steam for 5 min.
  • Pohe or poha is now ready to be server. Add coriander leaves on top.
