Ingredients

  • 3 cups finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • 2 cups gram flour
  • 5 Green chillies
  • 3-4 leaf of garlic
  • 1/2 tea spoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 tea spoon turmeric
  • salt to taste
  • 1 table spoon sesame seeds/til
  • oil to deep fry

Instructions

  • Firstly in a large bowl take the finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Wash them well and then add 2 bowl besan.
  • Prepare paste from garlic, green chillies, cumin powder.
  • Add the paste to the bowl and mix it well.
  • Add little water to soften the dough.
  • Add salt, turmeric, sesame seeds. Mix it well.
  • Prepare rolls from the dough - cylindrical in shape.
  • Steam the rolls in a cooker for 15-20 minutes or one whistle.
  • Remove them in a plate and Allow it to cool completely.
  • Now cut them into medium slices.
  • In a pan take oil and heat it.
  • Now deep fry the slices till the vadi turns crispy and golden brown.
  • Serve the kothimbir vadi with chai/tea and tomato sauce.
