Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Mung Dal. 1-2 chopped green chillies 1/2 tbsp cumin 1 small potato
  • chopped. 1/4 tbsp turmeric 1 tbsp red chili powder 1/2 tbsp Dhaniya powder Salt (as needed) 1/2 tomato
  • chopped. 1 cup coriander leaves 5-6 curry leaves 1 Onion
  • chooped 1 tbasp chopped garlic Vegetable oil.

Instructions

  • Soak Mung dal into water before 10- 15 min of cooking.
  • Take a pan, add 4- 5 tbsp oil , add chooped Garlic, cumin seeds and curry leaves. Let garlic turn brown.
  • Add chooped Onion and let it fry.
  • Add pinch of turmeric, chilly powder, Dhaniya powder.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and Salt as needed. Stir the mixture well for 1 min.
  • Add soaked Mung Dal in mixture , mix it well on high flame for 1/2 min.
  • Add water as required , Cover the pan and let it cook on medium flame for 15 -20 min.
  • Garnish dal with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Easy and Tasty Mung Dal Curry is ready to have with Rice. :)
