Pav Bhaji - tangy and spicy Recipe , easy to make and has a lot of vegetables which makes it perfect meal or even a snacks.

Ingredients

  • One cup Cauliflower
  • one cup potato
  • half cup Green Peas (fresh or Frozen)
  • half cup Carrot
  • half cup Capsicum
  • half cup onion chopped
  • one cup tomato chopped
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 tea spoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • one tea spoon red chilly powder
  • half tea spoon turmeric powder
  • one tea spoon coriander powder
  • half tea spoon cumin powder
  • 2 tea spoon pav bhaji masala powder
  • 2 tea spoon salt
  • 2 tea spoon lemon juice
  • one table spoon cooking oil
  • 2 table spoon butter
  • 4 cubes butter for serving
  • 2 table spoon of coriander leaves finally chopped
  • 6 Pav Bun

Instructions

  • Step 1 : In a pressure cooker put washed & chopped cauliflower , potato , green peas & carrot with 2 -3 cups of water and add some salt and take 3-4 whistles , off the gas and let it cool down.
  • step 2 : once the vegetables are cooked then mash with the help of potato masher and keep it aside.
  • step 3 : In a cooking pan , add oil & butter and let it warm for a min and add chopped onion & ginger garlic paste and saute for few mins.
  • Step 4 : once the onion are sauted , then add capsicum cook for another minute , once done add chopped tomatoes cook until all become soft.
  • Step 5 : now add all the dry spices that is red chilly powder , turmeric powder , coriander powder , cumin powder , pav bhaji masala powder and salt to taste.
  • Step 6 : Mix all together and cook for 2-3 minutes or until all the spices leave the oil.
  • Step 7 : once all the spices mix , now add 2 cups of water cook for 1 minute.
  • Step 8 : Now add all the mashed vegetables in the Pan , mix everything together nicely for approx 5 mins.
  • Step 9 : Once Bhaji is cooked switch off the flame and add coriander leaves and extra butter .
  • Step 10: Bhaji is ready to serve , serve it with the shallow fried pav , chopped onion , lemon slice & butter.
