Fast food chaat recipe served with aloo pattice and white peas curry which is also known as ragada curry.

  • 3 boiled potatoes
  • 1/2 table spoon ginger
  • 3-4 Green Chillies
  • 1 small bowl fresh coriander
  • 1 cup green/white dry peas


  • For Pattice, boil potatoes and mash them.
  • Add salt, ginger, green chillies, fresh coriander and make flat cutlets.
  • Dip in Cornflour and bread crumbs and shallow fry. Keep aside.
  • For Ragda, Soak green/white dry peas for 5 hours.
  • Pressure cook with salt. Heat oil, add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies, tomatoes and fry.
  • Add coriander powder, turmeric, red chilly powder and garam masala and make gravy.
  • Add boiled peas, mix, add salt if needed. Ragda is ready.
  • Now take 2 Pattice. Top with cooked Ragda. Spoon some green chutney.
  • Sprinkle chopped onion, chat masala, date-tamarind chutney, fresh coriander and barik sev/ crushed puri.
  • Optional: Add 2 spoons of beaten curds. Dish is ready to be served.
