Ingredients

  • 1 medium size Sweet potato
  • 1 cup wholegrain/soya wheat flour
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • red chilly powder
  • salt and half tsp haldi powder

Instructions

  • Boil the sweet potato and peel it. Mash it and add it to the flour while it is warm.
  • Add the spices and knead a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • Now roll medium size rotis and cook on both the sides on a non stick tawa. It comes out soft and well cooked without a drop of oil.
  • Serve the fresh rotis with low fat plain yoghurt or pickles/salad. Good for Tiffin too.
