Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg coriander
  • 6 -7 garlic
  • 1 cup Gram flour
  • 1/4 cup Cumin & Mustard
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 salt
  • 1/4 turmeric, dhaniya powder, Amchur powder, Chilly powder
  • 1/4 kg Green peas/ Green pigeon peas
  • 1/2 cup Oil

Instructions

  • Take a bowl and Add 1 cup white flour, 1 cup gram flour, 1 tbsp oil, pinch of baking soda, salt, cumin seeds. Using water knead soft dough, cover it and keep aside.
  • Rinse coriander under water and cut it and let dry for sometime.
  • Take 3 tbsp oil in a pan, once heated add cumin seeds , mustard seeds and chopped garlic.
  • Add green chillies and Crushed Green pigeon peas.
  • Add pinch of turmeric, 1 tbsp chilly powder, 1/2 tbsp dhaniya powder, pinch of Amchur powder and mix it well.
  • Add chopped coriander and mix it well.
  • Add salt as needed, half lemon juice and let it for 2 minute.
  • Add gram flour as needed and mix it well once you get desired mixture.
  • Cook till mixture looks dry.
  • Take a dough and make small pieces, roll each piece, stuff mixture and close into required shape (Vadi), Use water to stick edges.
  • Deep fry Vadi till it becomes light brown.
  • Serve it with tomato/imli sause or Kadi.
